A Soggy Wet Week Behind Us...

Holly and I arrived in Virginia Beach last Friday, Nov 6th. It started raining on Monday night and hasn't really stopped since then. You probably saw Jim Cantori and the rest of the Weather Channel reporters standing on the beach her and in Nag's Head NC which is about 20 miles South of here. You KNOW it's gonna be a bad day when Jim Cantori is in your town!
Well, it was wet and windy but we parked in Doug & Becky McNeill's driveway and it stayed above water level throughout the storm so that's a good thing. We did lose power two nights in a row and resorted to candles and battery operated lanterns during those times. And one Thursday night Holly and I opted to sleep in their guest bedroom when the wind gusts here hit hurricane force. Other than that, it was okay.
Kind of reminds me of an old joke. I don't remember the whole thing, but the punch line was "Other than that Mrs Lincoln, how did you like the play?" :-)

After lunch it gets even more fun when you learn how to digitize faster and how to personalize the designs you make with fun and creative techniques.

"Worked on these today, off & on. Table runner and two hot pads. Those are 10x12. Forgot to measure the runner. I did add a few of my own strips so I could stretch Monica's to make it a little bigger.
